Mersey Leven Child Care Services (MLCCS) is a community based not for profit organisation, delivering a range of quality children and family services to all areas of Tasmania.
At MLCCS we are passionate about children and their learning. We recognise the importance of play, using spontaneous and planned moments to build upon a child/rens existing knowledge and skills to enhance their learning.
As a community based organisation, MLCCS is overseen by a Board of Governance. We have been operating since 1977.
MLCCS has a proud history of being advocates for children, families and educators in the education and care sector, often at the forefront of state and national initiatives and policy development.
IN HOME CHILD CARE SOUTHERN:
Our In Home Care Southern service provides education and care services in the family's home.
Children are cared for in the comfort and security of their own homes and participate in their normal routines where Educators provide activities and experiences throughout the day.
In-Home Child Care is available for families who do not have access to a child care service, or whose child care needs cannot be met by existing services e.g. live in rural or remote areas, parent or child/ren with a disability, work non-standard hours or multiple children under school age.
The Australian Government criteria must be met to receive this form of child care.
