Dr Mei Wong (Chiropractor)
Mei uses a holistic approach to health. She uses several other complimentary modalities to enhance chiropractic in order to stimulate the body's ability to heal itself.
Sessions are tailored to suit your individual needs. Mei uses a combination of manual and non-manual adjustments, musculoskeletal acupuncture, cranio-pelvic balancing and trigger point therapy to restore proper structure and function.
Her focus is on ongoing musculoskeletal concerns that require different levels of rehabilitation. Further special interests include nutrition, pregnancy and sports chiropractic.
Mei has taught at Macquarie University for 7 years in chiropractic technique. She is a Governor of the Sydney College of Chiropractic and sits on the Advisory Board to the Department of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. Mei has guest lectured at Australian College of Physical Education and Macquarie University as well as written and spoken on behalf of the Chiropractic Association of Australia (NSW). She actively contributes to the local community and worked with Macquarie University Rugby Union Club for 3 years as their sports therapist.
