Health department recommends cleaning your rainwater tank every 2-3 years. W e removed the sludge build up on the bottom of your tank using a vacuum system than sanitise the remaining water using a filter system to remove any further contaminates and to help mix sanitiser.
We use a product designed specifically for drinking water. Hydrasil, not chlorine as used by some.
