Apartment first opened its doors in late 2006. Initially opening at the height of the streetwear and sneaker boom, Apartment has since then, continued to move forward and develop its stable of brands. Now in it's third location since opening, Apartment's current store can now be found in a heritage brick building on Brisbane's Charlotte Street. Apartment aims to provide a mix of highly wearable garments of the highest quality, and cutting edge pieces from some of the worlds most forward thinking brands.
The loft like space houses a strong list of some of the worlds most exclusive street and fashion brands in particular those hailing from Japan. White Mountaineering, Neighborhood, Head Porter and Comme des Garcons, are just a few of the labels whose collections can be found at Apartment.
Apartment is also home to Brisbane's Carhartt WIP store. The Carhartt Pop-Up concept space houses the entire line of Carhartt's European line by Work in Progress (WIP), as well as the the collaboration lines with A.P.C. and Adam Kimmel.
Head down the stairs to this very cool underground shop selling sought-after international brands for women and men such as APC, Comme Des Garcons, Head Porter and PAM, plus Aussie jeans label Imperial Brand Clothing. The store’s design is beautifully slick and the friendly staff really know their stuff.
