The roots of The Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup go back over 20 years when passionate makeup artists and educators came together to create a unique training institution.
Since opening out doors in 2009, we have established ourselves as one of the leading private academies, with a focus on educating students in the craft of special effects makeup to succeed in the exciting and fast-moving film and television makeup industry.

We not only focus on the needs of our industry for highly skilled and specialised makeup artists, but also support all our students on their journey to a successful career.

More recently, our students have won the IMATS Prosthetics and Fashion&Beauty divisions (2016), 2nd place in IMATS Prosthetics (2017) and IMATS Fashion and Beauty (2014).
