He holds a Diploma Of Marketing, with an avid interest in cosmetic chemistry, makeup and formulations. He travels overseas regularly to keep up with latest trends in all aspects of his business.
The company was originally established in 1979 as a supply company to beauty therapists. Since its humble beginnings, John Wurzel & Co Pty Ltd. has expanded and steady growth and several acquisitions including Scalpers Hairdressing Suppliers have made the company into what it is today.
In 1992 John Wurzel & Co Pty Ltd. acquired Scalpers Hairdressing Supplies which diversified the company into also carrying hairdressing supplies and now have an inventory of over 26,000 stock items. The company is involved in import, manufacturing, and national distribution.
