I am passionate about improving sleep and well-being. I take a holistic approach to assess all factors that may be contributing to sleep disturbance. I tailor my approach to suit each client's individual needs and I draw upon a range of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), light therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
I have a special interest in insomnia and behavioural interventions for teaching children to sleep independently from their parents.
I am a member of the Australasian Sleep Association (ASA), the ASA's Chronobiology Council and Insomnia Special Interest Group. I am also a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a committee member for the Illawarra Branch.
