Kerry sees adolescents and adults in counselling. She has a special interest in working with young people. She works with clients experiencing a range of different life problems including stress, anxiety (including phobias and panic attacks), emotional dysregulation, depression, self-esteem issues, body-image issues, self-harm, school or academic-related stress, work-related issues, perfectionism and procrastination, motivational problems, bullying, anger management, interpersonal difficulties, relationship or family problems, parenting difficulties, life adjustment and developmental issues.
Kerry has been trained to deliver a range of different evidence-based counselling treatments, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness (including Mindfulness Meditation), Relaxation Training, Narrative Therapy, Creative and Psychodynamic therapies. Kerry is also experienced in facilitating groups, including for CBT, Mindfulness, Anger Management and DBT.
Kerry understands that every client has a unique set of needs, circumstances, goals and expectations. She will work collaboratively with you to tailor a therapy plan to suit your individual needs.
