The Western Health Collective is a new unique form of health clinic. We are a collection of health businesses under the one roof who all are focused on client / patient care and especially geared to those with chronic illnesses. The Collective will be linked to the GP's next door as well as the local hospitals (General Western and Sunshine), we have connections to MAMA (Midwives and Mothers Australia) who are our consultant Midwives, and to local businesses and a early learning group to ensure we can assist with our families for all their needs.
Clients can book online and in person with their practitioner and therapy of choice and we have hicaps and medicare, as well as reception, Practice Manager and Directors.
This is a collection of people who are all focused on embedding themselves in the community and reaching out to those who need the most assistance - those dealing with chronic conditions for which there is often no cure and very little support. We will assist them in all aspects of their health - mental, emotional and physical. We have a range of allied and complementary health practitioner's and it is key that this team will be able to refer to one another, help with complex cases and support each other throughout our work practices.
There is going to be a lecture series at the collective, so once a month we will have a night whereby a visiting specialist in some health area will come and talk to us about their work and inform us of the latest developments in areas such as diabetes, autoimmune diseases, Parkinson's and Alzheimers. These will be eligable for CPT points for Practitioner's who attend and open to the public for a gold coin donation to raise money for local organisations such as Welcome West Wagon and Women's Health.
We are so excited to be opening in WeFo as this is our community and we aim to be a Collective in all senses of the word - a place for us and our community.
