Rosemary is an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor; supervisor and trainer who works with individuals, couples and families. A main focus of her work is in the area of Loss, Grief and Trauma and she has a strong commitment to raising community awareness of the impact of loss on an individual and family. She extends the lens of loss and grief to include not just loss by death but the many losses that people can experience as they move through life, such as, loss of health, loss of mobility, loss of security, loss of relationships and loss of real joy in living;
She works from an integrated theoretical framework, while keeping the therapeutic relationship central.
Rosemary has a strong commitment to assisting individuals to develop a better relationship with self and others. Couples therapy forms a large component of the service she provides.
Rosemary has designed, written and facilitated training courses and workshops for professionals and allied health personnel and is a member of the training staff of William St. Family Therapy Centre in Mt Lawley in addition to seeing clients at that centre two days per week.
