Our director is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist skilled in delivering neuropsychological assessments and evidence based therapy tailored to your individual circumstances.
On referral sessions may be wholly or fully subsidised by Medicare (e.g., Better Access) or your private health insurer. Sessions may also be conducted for third-party payers such as TAC, Workcover, or Employee Assistance.
Clinical neuropsychological assessments are the testing and assessment of cognitive functions to aid in:
The assessment of cognitive functioning for older adults worried about changes in their memory or thinking skills.
The differential diagnosis of dementias.
Characterisation of current functioning for individuals with lifelong (e.g., Epilepsy) or neurodegenerative conditions (e.g., Alzheimer?s, Parkinson?s).
Characterisation of current cognitive functioning for individuals post ABI/TBI (e.g., car accident -TAC) /Stroke.
Informing treatment/rehabilitation.
Provision of recommendations about appropriate occupational support for clients with known or suspected cognitive impairments.
