Karingal St Laurence is a not-for-profit organisation with more than sixty years of history in the Geelong region. Its primary focus is to improve the quality of life for people with a disability. The 2016 merger of Karingal and fellow Geelong-based community organisation St Laurence, with the addition of further existing recruitment agencies, has given the organisation the scope to provide support for thousands of people across 200 locations nationwide.
Nearly 3000 staff and more than 350 volunteers make up the family that is Karingal St Laurence, and those figures continue to grow as the organisation builds and expands. As part of its commitment towards a fully inclusive community for people with a disability, the organisation offers supported accommodation throughout Western Victoria and Melbourne, as well as aged services including community support, retirement living and respite.
