Orchard's Dance Studio was founded in 1953 by Dick and Noela Orchard.
They were undefeated Queensland Professional Champions for fifteen years, and over the years trained many state, inter-state and overseas champions.
The studio was managed by their daughter Joanne Orchard upon Dick and Noela's retirement and she was joined by her partner Anthony Clacher in its operation for many years.
The studio is now operated by Peter and Rebecca Beardsley and managed by Damien Hall.
The main aim of Orchard's Dance Studio has always been to teach you to dance and to make sure you have fun doing it.
We teach Ballroom and Latin dancing at a range of levels from absolute Beginner to Advanced, and Competition level.
Social Class evenings are a combination of class lessons and social dancing. You can choose whether you attend a Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced class.
Social Classes are held every Monday from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm, and every Friday night from 8.00 pm to 10.30 pm.
There is no need to book, just attend and pay at the door. Your first night is an introductory half price special of $8.50 and then $17.00 per night after that.
There are No Contracts at Orchard's Dance Studio. You can attend, learn to dance and join in on the fun whenever you feel like it.
