At NY Dance your child can learn Tap & Jazz classes without the added pressures of eisteddfod or examinations.
This is a dance school that appreciates that not everyone wants to be involved at such a high level of commitment, where your child can come to class once a week, enjoy learning to dance, and then perform in an end-of-year concert, and experience the thrill of performing in a nurturing and fun atmosphere.
We cater for children from 2 years, right up to our Adults who love to come and learn to Tap Dance.
The principal, Natalie Yates, has more than 25 years of teaching experience in tap, jazz, ballet and contemporary dance, including eisteddfod and examination work, but much prefers the atmosphere of non-competition, hence the creation of this dance school in 2009.
We are now located in our own, purpose built premises at Raceview, which boasts two studios, fully equipped with mirrors, dance barres and properly sprung dance floors. A reception area, change rooms, kitchenette, waiting area and dance shop.
