What is daggy dancing?
Great question! Simple moves broken down to songs like 'Blame it on the Boogie' and 'The Nutbush'. Think 'Blue Light Disco' mixed with 'falling down stairs' and 'sure I meant that.'
What can I expect from a class? Low impact, fun movement to songs you may hear in the supermarket in a relaxed and fun environment. Classes are friendly, and there are plenty of laughs along the way. You may find yourself with a bit of movement awareness and increased coordination along the way.
What are the benefits?
Laughter. Having some moves ready to go for the office Christmas party.
Who is this for?
This class is for people who are up for a bit of fun- all ages, all abilities. If you can move something, we can find something for you to do. Everyone is encouraged to move within their own range.
What should I wear?
Come comfy, but come daggy...It's up to you. Loose comfortable clothing, some simple sandshoes, or shoes with flat soles. N.B. Some sneakers can have too much grip. If you feel inspired to a trip at the back of your closet, or to the local Savers, you can find your daggiest outfit (daggy is in the eye of the beholder)
Do I have to be hip to go? It won't hurt you, but it won't help you either. Besides, hipsters often look like my year nine maths teacher anyway.
