Expressions Ballet Academy was established in 2009 under the direction of Emma Madden. The school offers classes in classical ballet, pilates, contemporary, jazz and acrobatics for students aged 2.5 years to adult. Expressions Ballet Academy aims to foster a love of dance in a caring, nurturing and fun environment, whilst providing students with a high level of technical training. Students have the opportunity to undertake examinations in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and participate in an end of year performance.
Many Expressions Ballet Academy students have successfully auditioned for prestigious full time training programs such as Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Ministry of Dance Melbourne, Dance World Studios and Patrick Studios Australia. Over the past 2 years five students have been accepted into the Australian Ballet School.
