A new concept is now at the north shore; a 4 star green Furniture and Design Centre - the first of its kind in Australia.
The centre, known as Home HQ is located in Artarmon (situated beside Bunnings Hardware on Reserve Rd.) and is one of a kind. It is situated in a heritage listed building with a 4 star Green stamp.
barbara's AT HOME has moved into the new centre, which opened on March 24th 2010. barbara's AT HOME has a one stop furniture showroom. Also, showcasing for the first time, Bromley & Tate Interiors, a design studio within the confines of barbara's AT HOME as well as a working kitchen, which will be home to many celebrity chefs from all over New South Wales, if only for a short time, to show off their many skills and at the same time showing clients how to design the perfect kitchen.
The 434 squares of floor space will be designed to showcase the latest designs in lounges, dining tables, bedroom furniture, office furniture, new fabrics and brand new colours whilst taking on board the 4 star green approach of the centre. The showroom has a mixing of a new classical look with a contemporary chic. The design of the showroom exudes a definite a wow factor and offers thousands of design ideas.
We still offer our "design your own" option. You can choose from a broad range of sustainable timbers and various finishes. If you need help one of our senior designers can help you out with the finishing touches. For those who need help at home our highly trained interior designer from Bromley & Tate Interiors can bring interior - specific knowledge and skills to your home for the interior or exterior. Colour is also a speciality of Bromley & Tate Interiors. (charges apply)
