I graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2000 and completed my internship and basic physician training at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital. My advanced cardiology training was completed at Fremantle Hospital. My interventional cardiology fellowship was completed at the Mazankowski Heart Institute in Edmonton, Canada from 2010 to 2012.
Currently, I am consulting with Dr. John OShea at Murdoch, Rockingham, Mandurah, Geraldton, Bunbury and the Kimberleys. I am also an oncall interventional cardiologist at Fremantle Hospital for acute coronary syndromes.
My interests include the management of complex coronary artery disease with stenting and minimally invasive therapies for atrial septal defect, patent foramen ovale and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. I also have an interest in the management of valvular heart disease percutaneously, right heart catheterisation (with particular focus on pre/post transplantation workup), heart biopsies, pacemaker implantation and transoesophageal echocardiography. I also have a broad interest in general cardiology.
