I believe that everyone should be able to stand up, open their mouth, and the right words come out in the right order, regardless of the situation. Speaking is one of the first major skills we learn as children, and we continue to learn how to talk in different situations for the rest of our lives.
In speech we can look at:
* confidence in public speaking,
* debating,
* clarity of speech,
* accents,
* minor speech impediments
and in drama we can look at:
* characterisation,
* mime,
* improvisation,
* reading and recitation of prose and poetry.
