The Driving Assessment & Rehabilitation Service has been established to provide support to clients who may be experiencing difficulties in relation to driving. We offer a range of services that help promote road safety and independence. Many clients would benefit from our Service including those who have, or suffer from: dementia or cognitive decline, neurological conditions (including strokes and brain injury), upper or lower limb amputees, short/tall stature, arthritic conditions, back, neck, upper or lower limb injuries. We can also offer Rehabilitaion advice for clients returning to driving following an injury or illness, as well as advice on vehcile modifications.
Clients can refer themselves or they can be referred by their Treating Doctor. Medicare rebates may be available to clients as part of the Enhanced Primary Care Program (MBS Item Number 10958 - Occupational Therapist). Please contact us for an up to date fee schedule.
