Unlike traditional commercial driving schools, PDC suggests, guides and helps. PDC's 1-on-1 tuition cultivates lateral (right brain) learning - balancing schools' logical (left brain) learning - thus better meeting the needs of interactive traffic flow driving as well as overall school performance.
As a Member of the NSW Driver Trainers Association PDC holds comprehensive, professional indemnity and public liability insurances. In addition to some 30 continuous years as a driving instructor, Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychosociology and the contemporary qualifications of a Certificate IV TAE (the TAFE teaching qualification) as well as a Certificate IV in Car Driving Instruction. Charles also offers FREE (Commonwealth-funded) Keys2Drive sessions and is also one of very few NSW RMS-accredited Older Driver Assessors.
PDC offers savings to applicants who choose to learn within a carefully structured series of sessions - 'Dynamic Defensive Driving ('3D') CourseWork'. Using PDC's WorkSheet (for a structured private practice) these best enable, especially at the very start of an applicant's learn-to-drive experience, deepenable 3D skills to be built through 4 accumulating layers:
interaction with
. the car through its controls and facilities;
. specific streetscape features within point-to-point driving;
. mobile elements of traffic flows;
. potentially mobile/hazardous entities.
These skills are best assessed after completing 3D CourseWork .
