If you have recently lost your licence to a drink driving offence, we'll help you find out the necessary steps to restoring your licence.
We offer drink driving education courses and assessments for people who have drink driving offences which have resulted in cancellations or vehicle interlocks.
We use qualified Alcohol and Drug workers to run the courses and provide assessments. Courses are run across Victoria over two four hour sessions and are sanctioned by the Department of Health Services. People undergo a program with us prior to being re-issued a licence. Whilst over the age of 25 it is not compulsory under Victorian Legislation to do the course, there wouldn't be many magistrates who would reissue a licence to someone if they haven't completed the course.
We cover a range of issues including how alcohol affects your driving and your life generally and educate people about the safe levels of drinking. Our role also involves completing assessments which are used as reports for the magistrates to help them decide whether someone should be issued a licence or have an interlock device installed or removed.
We are an approved DHS Agency, Department of Human Services Accreditation Number 05/069.
