The CarbonNet project is one of the national CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) Flagship projects in Australia. The project aims to develop the Business Case and demonstrate large scale CCS. As Technical Project Manager for Source (CO2 Source) & Capture, I was committed to manage the feasibility studies on the different options as a source of CO2 and the Capture plant integrated or retrofitted on the existing plants or a new plant. I was also committed to provide the technical support to CO2 transport package and Technical expertise to the Commercial Team for Business Case preparation and submission to government.
