We specialise in industrial machine design and can cover the entire life cycle of a project, from concept design to basic engineering, detailed design and modelling, and prototyping to validate designs. We are capable of running sophisticated finite element analysis (FEA) to optimise designs, and we can also perform material flow simulations to optimise wear and impact loads in critical areas of the design.
In terms of mechanical element design and selection, we cover the entire range of equipment and components (e.g. shafts, gears, belts, keys, bolts, weld design, steel structures, lifting devices, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, HPUs) and applicable engineering and design documents (e.g. power demand calculations, performance calculations, P&IDs, PFDs, ITPs, etc.).
We have a proven track record of analysing complex systems in industries ranging from reclaimer bucket wheels in mining to thermal desalination and wind turbine towers. When it comes to the fabrication process, we are familiar with the fabrication process and applicable inspection routes, from welding inspection to functional and site acceptance tests.
