The Diamonds of Burlesque... it's time to sparkle!
Bebe Sparkle is the sparkling master mind and the Queen of Hobart's very first, regularly performing burlesque troupe, 'The Diamonds of Burlesque'.
A highly established, high profile Burlesque star and producer herself, she also created The Diamonds back, late 2007.
'Bebe' has built this ever growing and changing troupe of burlesque beauties into one of Australia's most premier performance groups, attracting a rich and vast following of fans.
With a passion for all things Burlesque stemming from the days of the traditional, Bebe Sparkle's 'Diamonds' are best known for their neo/contemporary, fun and cheeky performance style as well as their acrobatic talents and pole dance.
Taking this vintage art of tease, parody, theater, glamor and adapting it to what is mainstream today, they translate to broad audiences, appealing to even those who haven't any knowledge of the art of Burlesque whilst also capturing the Golden Age essence of the artform.
Using their talents for the stage which includes their popular expertise and acrobatic talents with Pole, they always dazzle, presenting the Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?Å?art of teaseÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢ at its best, incorporating numerous themes with a tasty twist of narratives that trigger and excite even the most subdued of imaginations!
DIAMOND SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
The Diamonds support MS Society of Tasmania fundraising through their shows and performing at MS events such as MS Fest and the MS Red Diamond Cocktail Ball.
The Diamonds support acceptance in the community and appear regularly in TasPride Bulletin - perform regularly at the GLBTIQ friendly night club 'Flamingos' Dance bar and marching in the Tassie Pride Parade and Sydney Mardi Gras.
You will never see the Diamonds nude, but may see them oh so daringly risquÃ?Æ?Ã?©... itÃ?¢ââ??‰â??¢s tease after all!
