Perth Fishing Safaris is a fishing guide service that offers rock and beach fishing tours for small groups of anglers out of Perth. Within just an hour or so drive we'll take you to beaches that offer some of the best land based fishing opportunities in the world. Our goal is to put our clients onto big fish that fight hard. Our specialties are tailor, mulloway, sharks, shovelnose and rays and on certain trips our clients can also be in with a chance of catching snapper, samsonfish, spanish mackerel and tuna. While our safaris are predominantly based around fishing, four wheel driving and sightseeing are also on the agenda. It's not uncommon to see kangaroos, emus and reptiles on the drive up and if you're lucky you might see dolphins surfing the waves or seals snoozing on the beach.
Our fishing trips cater for beginners right through to the most advanced. All of your gear, bait and tackle is provided and you're welcome to bring your own gear too. All of the gear we supply is top of the range from Shimano and Daiwa. The fishing can be as much or as little hands on as you like.
We are proud supporters of catch and release fishing, however, if you choose to keep the fish you catch that's perfectly fine. We will fillet your catch for you and if you catch a whopper we can divide it up to share with other group members.
The reason we started Perth Fishing Safaris is to give locals and holiday makers an option to go on a fishing trip off the shore as opposed to a boat, with the added bonus of exploring the region and being taught the ins and outs of beach fishing.
We also hold beach fishing classes on the beach right here in Perth. We'll teach you everything you need to know to get started, including what tackle, bait, outfits to use as well as casting techniques, safety and how to read a beach.
