Carol is a naturopath, undertaking the development of personal health through use of locally grown herbs (including garlic) in line with the Nature Cure philosophy.
With her husband/engineer Peter, she is converting a disused Dairy Farm, in Krowera (West Gippsland) to grow pesticide free Russian Purple and Italian White Garlic sourced from organic stock. In the future this will expand to include theraputic herbs.
The farm is commencing conversion to organic status this year.
Our aim is to provide you, with the best tasting garlic that provides both the greatest culinary enjoyment and health giving properties.
In Krowera, West Gippsland (~100Km from the CBD) the garlic is planted by hand, weeded by hand throughout the season, harvested, cured on racks and finally cleaned and plaited/frapped for presentation by hand.
This locally grown garlic is only available for a short five month season and stores well for a few months more.
