Orange Furniture One is a family run business which had it's beginnings in 1966, when Johannes and Hendrika Bobeldyk opened Bobeldyk's Bargain Centre.
The original business concentrated on second hand furniture, and gradually moved to include new furniture as well. This makes us the longest established furniture business in Orange.
October 2000 saw the relocation of the new furniture to Endsleigh Ave, and the subsequent sale of the second hand business.
The business is now being run by two of their children, Arthur and Hennie, along with their respective spouses, Lynda and Graham.
We became members of the Furniture One buying group in 2001. This move strengthened our business by giving us greater access to suppliers, which resulted in a larger range of products that we could offer to our customers.
In 2005 we became the first store in New South Wales to incorporate a La-Z-Boy in store Gallery, which showcases a large selection of the La-Z-Boy range.
The Stressless Comfort Studio, Showcasing the best of Norwegian sleek, classical and elegant design, and functionality, became part of our business in 2011.
