Boombana Gallery represents established and emerging artists of the Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious community. The artists are all unique in their own personal visions and means of expression. At Boombana Gallery these qualities manifest themselves in a variety of forms and expression offering an intimate insight into the lives of mountainfolk.
Modern and contemporary works and traditional fine art are displayed in four light-filled rooms offering views of the neighboring National Park and mountainous sub-tropical rainforest. Sculpture may be exhibited alongside paintings and artist-made furniture - an atmosphere not dissimilar to how one might mix these works of art in their own home.
Boombana Gallery exhibits an outstanding selection of art including acrylics, oils,watercolour, photography, jewellery in silver and polymer clay, sculpture, glasswork,life drawing, fine woodwork and clothing and accessories from up-cycled and vintage fabrics. The gallery provides a sophisticated yet distinct space for visitors to experience and obtain the unique art of the mountains artistically gifted community.
The gallery is open Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays except Christmas day and New Years day. Openings and exhibitions are held twice annually.
