K9 Makeovers is located within a doggy day care and boarding facility, K9 Workouts. This gives you and your pet a unique pet care opportunity.
You can choose to drop your pet off for day care, where they spend their day in supervised play in the spacious day care area, finishing off the day with a visit to the grooming salon where they will be waiting for you to pick up freshly pampered.
Alternatively you can drop off directly to the salon and pickup once their pamper is complete, no waiting around all day, K9 Makeovers is a 1 on 1 appointment run salon.
At K9 Makeovers we pride ourselves on our skill and the care taken on each and every dog. Our aim is to make the grooming experience as stress free and enjoyable as possible for both you and your beloved dog.
We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes. Clare owns both Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and White Swiss Shepherds, she is very comfortable with large and small dogs.
We are very proud to use Melanie Newman Salon Essentials collection, a range of premium canine grooming products​ made and owned by Australian groomer Melanie Newman.
Your pet will be hand washed in fresh water (we do not use recycled water), warm air dried, clipped and scissored to your preference to a high standard.
Our aim is to make our 4 legged clients as comfortable and happy with the grooming experience as possible, we hope they enjoy their visits and look forward to their visits as much as we enjoy seeing them.
Clare has been grooming professionally since 2014 with some of the top groomers in the country.
Dogs have always been a large part of her life.
Care has exhibited a range of different breeds in the show ring and it seemed a natural progression to learn to groom.
Since starting her career in dog grooming Clare has competed successfully in a number of grooming competitions. She sees these competitions as a fantastic learning experience to improve her grooming and get feedback from her peers.
