At Beat Fitness we are Group Fitness Professionals and offer an effective total-body toning & conditioning workout catering to all fitness levels. Our classes are suitable for people who are just starting out on their fitness journey, at a beginner level or they can be quite challenging for those at an intermediate and advanced fitness levels. You simply work at your own pace under well-guided supervision and instruction.
Our classes have been designed to enhance cardiovascular fitness, body tone, strength, and flexibility. We have a choice of programs for you to join - cardio dance, rhythmical weight bearing or a mix of both. Your cardio workout is dance based and performed in a group fitness setting. You exercise to many different beats, rhythms and styles such as Salsa, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Jazz and Latin American. Your strength training classes includes resistance and weight bearing exercises and utilizes hand-held weights and resistance tubes.
Joining our classes is simple, just come along with a bottle of water, a floor mat or think towel and hand held weights are highly recommended but optional.
As with any fitness program you need to attend an appointment for a fitness appraisal. If clearance is given and consent provided you can start attending classes immediately. A clearance to exercise form is required by law, so please book in a time to meet with us prior to attending to avoid disappointment. At this appointment we will go through the class options, your goals and all the ins and outs of our program.
