Founded in February 2013 Tribal Village came about through the awareness of a need to create a retail outlet that encompassed all the beliefs of a Global business whilst retaining ethical procedures and beliefs. World poverty and global greed are a motivating force that drives us to seek out products that are handcrafted by third world producers that are purchased ethically under the Fairtrade guidelines. Tribal Village encompasses all the peoples of the planet and the need to create a better world for the present and the future of humanity.
We stock Eco Friendly and Certified Organic products that are good for you and great for the planet.
With a strong African bent we stock Western Australia's largest collection of African wares from all over Africa. Anything from African foods, teas, coffees and spices to clothing, shoes, Moroccan and West African handcrafted leather ottomans, textiles, African masks and antiquities to the largest collection of African and exotic worldy music, African Djembe's and Dun Dun's. We skin and finish our very own African Drums and conduct classes and courses in our downstairs Galleria. Apart from the African side we also carry a huge array of handcrafted wares from all over the world, from places like India come beautiful exotic incenses, soaps and bags to the mountains of Thailand where you will find the most comfortable handcrafted tribal shoes and woven bags. Beautiful beaded and handcrafted jewellery from distant lands glisten in the cabinets and vibrant clothing crafted in far off places exude a colourful hue.
We are passionate about what we do and how we can help those in other parts of the world that struggle with the things we take for granted every day.
