Richmond Valley Riding School, 3 kilometres from historic Richmond in Tasmania was established in 1992. " We just evolved THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE" and now offer casual PONY PAT, PLAY and lead-RIDE experiences or BIRTHDAY PARTIES for littlies, along with options for those wishing for more to achieve a high level of education in the field of equine studies and riding.
New to nervous riders or experienced competitors, students enrolled in equine courses, young or just "young hearted" your own horse or "horseless" are all extremely welcome
On average we are home to fourteen experienced school horses/ponies. They vary in size, breed and temperament to cater for the differing ages & experience of you the rider. FREE use of riding helmets & riding boots during lessons.
LESSONS can be private, shared or one off, casual or regular weekly or fortnightly options available. Riding helmets and boots available to borrow for FREE. Half and full day activities are held during school holidays.
CASUAL TRAIL RIDES are available for experienced riders or otherwise as part of lesson plans. DRESSAGE, JUMPING, SHOWING, HORSE MANAGEMENT, FLOAT LOADING MADE EASY, GAMES can all be learnt here.
GIFT VOUCHERS, AGISTMENT, COACH TRAINING, casual DRUM LESSONS also held onsite either acoustic or electric.
