Dr Piksi Singh is a Gynaecological Oncologist who specialises in the management of all known and suspected cancers of the female genital tract, colposcopy and pre-invasive conditions of cervix, vagina and vulva. She has a keen interest in managing women with hereditary familial gynaecological cancers, gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD), vulval reconstructive surgeries and complex minimally invasive surgery, including total laparoscopic hysterectomies and robotic procedures.
Originally from India, Dr Singh obtained her postgraduate obstetric and gynaecological qualifications in 1994 and then worked as a Senior Consultant in leading teaching institutions in New Delhi before moving to Australia in 2003. In Australia, she undertook further sub-specialty training in gynaecological oncology in Adelaide, Newcastle and Brisbane, completing her Certification in Gynaecological Oncology in 2008. Dr Singh also acquired further surgical training in resecting upper abdominal disease in advanced gynaecological malignancies and robotic surgery in the United States.
Dr Singh is committed to clinical and translational research and has authored multiple papers in peer reviewed international journals. She has worked as a Senior Staff Specialist at the Gold Coast, Royal Hobart and Christchurch Womens Hospitals.
