The Doncaster Small Luxury Hotel, formerly the Doncaster Inn, was Braidwood's first hotel. Today, it is the district’s only 4 star boutique hotel, a function centre and an International Butler’s Training School. Guest rooms each enjoy a fabulous blend of contemporary designer features and antique furnishings, LCD TVs, european style en-suites and queen or king size beds. The hotel was built in 1837 and quickly became the centre of social life in the Gold Fields. Many decades ago it was also a convent.
