The Regatta Hotel is a large venue which caters to all tastes. There are DJ's playing dance, R&B, rock and top 40's hits; as well as live music, indoor and outdoor areas, TAB facilities, a restaurant and bar food. There are also views of the Brisbane River and which you can enjoy from the main bar where there's a good selection of beers, wines and spirits available.
A legendary uni student haunt, the Regatta offers plenty for those in nonstudy mode as well. It’s a dynamic venue with water views, three levels to hang out and a good restaurant alongside. There is also live music some nights. This striking heritage-listed building is nearly 130 years old and is a true western suburbs icon. In 1965, it became a footnote in feminist history when two women chained themselves to the bar in protest at men-only drinking establishments.
