The elegant bar looking north, or the L-shaped dining room facing west and south and east are arguably the best in Adelaide. And the menu, wine list and service are not far behind. Among the expected scotch fillets, sirloins, kangaroo, pork medallion, lamb cutlets, chicken, veal and barramundi we spied the seafood platter for two - surely one of the great signature dishes of Adelaide. It includes rock lobster mornay, sambal bugs, crusted barramundi, crumbed whiting, lemon and pepper calamari, creamy garlic prawns, crumbed scallops and natural and kilpatrick oysters.
