Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is nestled in a secluded bush setting on the edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park.
The private, well appointed, cosy self-contained cottages, chalets and villas offer natural bush and mountain views, and are environmentally friendly without compromising comfort. The cottages have a fully equipped kitchen, dining, lounge and bathroom, TV and Foxtel.
When you walk outside, you may well come face to face with a wallaby, wombat, possum or currawong, it's all part of the 'wilderness' experience.
All cabins offer easy access with car parking at your doorstep. There is a communal BBQ area, laundry and play area for children. The property has a serene guest lounge with a large open fireplace and views out to Cradle Mountain. Guests have access to a music, games and book library.
The property's restaurant, Hellyers is open for dinner 5 days a week (Tue - Sun) and serves modern Tasmanian cuisine and a mostly Tasmanian wine list. Guests can also enjoy a beverage from the bar. Continental breakfast hampers are available daily for guests to pre-order, where they can prepare from the comfort of their self contained Cottage or Chalet.
