-Polished Concrete
There are two completely different floor finishes that people usually relate to polished concrete. The first & the cheapest one we call "cut-and-seal". This floor is easy to make as a DIY project. You will need only time & money to hire concrete grinder & buy any kind of concrete sealer. You can go as deep as you want into the concrete slab to expose as many as you want aggregate & put a few coats of sealer on top of it. But be mindful that in a couple of years or so (depends on the use of the area) you will have to reseal it again.
On the other hand if you are after a 'real deal' you will be better off to leave it for the professionals. The 'real deal' is a truly polished concrete.
-Epoxy Flooring
Due its absolute stain resistance & durability, Epoxy Flooring has always been a very popular solution for garages, sheds & working spaces. In recent years it claims its spot inside houses, as decorative floors, in order to replace traditional floor coverings such as tiles, vinyls & carpets.
-Spraycrete/Spray Painting
If you cannot look at your old, cracked driveway, footpath or swimming pool area without tears it is time to consider Spraycrete or sometimes it gets called Spray paving. It is a fast & affordable way of making your outside space look new again without pulling it out.
With Spraycrete you can choose from plain color finish to mind-blowing piece of art with different shapes and colors. It is much stronger than regular concrete that normally used and it looks much sharper than a stencil concrete.
