North Coast Insurance Brokers commenced trading as a general insurance broker in 1977. This business was the first member of the Austbrokers group, now one of Australia's largest broker groups with over $1.2 billion in general insurance premiums. Life risk insurance sales were initially commenced in 1980.
Following the acquisition of a corporate superannuation portfolio in 2000 and a banking and finance brokerage business in 2001, the business now provides financial services to a diverse group of clients in the Northern Region of NSW. Our business trading name changed to North Coast Financial Services in September 2001, to reflect the services provided to the market. In 2009 the trading name changed to Austbrokers NCFS, aligning ourselves with the strength of the Austbrokers brand. The business is located on the corner of Bruxner Highway and Cook Street, South Lismore NSW.
