Alex is from small beachside Merimbula, NSW, but has lived and practiced styling and visual merchandising in Melbourne for the past 8 years 'surf to city' story is pretty common, but there's nothing common about its influence upon her styling. Alex's interior style is a unique blend of laid-back functionality and the contemporary trend-setting of the Melbourne design scene. Alex champions design that will lasts the seasons. She believes that a blank 'canvas' of quality neutral basics is the key to keeping rooms up to date - it's easy to chuck cushions in the cupboard when you're sick of bright yellow, but not so simple with a sofa. Bright, colorful spaces and eclectic collections of art and objects are what Alex is all about 'You don't need a lot of money to have nice things' she likes to mix investment pieces with bargains and DIY designs to ensure that spaces look a million dollars regardless of budget.
She will come to your home to help you create your new look, make the most of your space & find your style, working with the pieces you have already, and mixing them with new!
Upon booking an appointment, you will meet at your home so she see the space, your existing decor and colour schemes. There you discuss your new vision, budget, styles and ideas and come up with something great!
Then the fun begins, Alex will design something new and exciting for your space and the next you meet, she will share her design that will work for you. She will provide a digital story board of new styles, furniture and homeware pieces, colours and design options. If needed a floor layout plan can be provided also.
Here it is up to you whether you wish to attempt pulling the look together by yourself, having Alex buy it all for you and also styling it in your home.
