Our wireless tower network includes sites which are all interconnected using licensed microwave technology in redundant loops. Customers are connected via Point to Multipoint wireless systems which provide high quality, (QOS) enabled networks.
Aussie Broadband?s IP network extends from Bairnsdale in East Gippsland through to Mt Gambier in South Australia, with extensive coverage in Western Victoria. Aussie Broadband also has points of presence in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Aussie Broadband, through its subsidiaries Wideband Networks & Westvic broadband, was one of the first companies to be granted registration into the HiBIS, and later broadband connect programs, by the Department of Broadband, Communications & The Digital Economy to provide subsidised wireless services in Gippsland and Western Victoria.In September 2007, Westvic & Wideband were approved to provide Australian Broadband Guarantee Satellite services to regional and rural Victoria.
July 2008 saw Wideband Networks merge with Westvic Broadband to create Aussie Broadband. The two businesses were very similar, and covered different geographic regions.
In August 2008, Aussie Broadband was again approved to provide subsidised Satellite and wireless services under the Australian Broadband Guarantee program.
