The ArtHOUSE was originally built as a small motel 40 years ago. It has had many transformations over the years, from a family motel, right through to an art gallery. Now, in keeping with creativity, it has been completely transformed into a beautiful beachfront accommodation with everything provided for an easy, memorable, relaxing, well earned holiday. You will be surrounded by original artworks and the beauty of nature that will leave you rejuvinated and inspired.
We have two ArtHOUSE's, they are fully self contained roomy one bedroom studio apartments including freshly pressed linen, beach towels and umbrellas! It has its own laundry facility, comes with Austar, internet access, air conditioning, and barbeque if required. A gorgeous outdoor deck area is provided for outdoor barby's at twilight! The studio's are nestled around well established coastal gardens for that extra privacy. It is also conveniently located right next door to the renowned Surf Street Cafe, which is opened for breaky, lunch and dinner. Original artworks and garden sculptures are for your enjoyment along with a library of great books, magazines and DVD's. But above all, we pride ourselves in creating a quiet, exclusive, and totally private space for our guests to totally relax.
