Dad's Dairy Farm is located on the flanks of the highest hill on the southern side of Toowoomba (only six kilometres from Southern Queensland University) and offers fully self contained accommodation for up to four people.Located just two kilometres from Drayton, the oldest and original settlement of Toowoomba and the historic Bull's Head Inn, the cottage is nestled on 80 acres and commands magnificent panoramic views of the Darling Downs. The cottage, while in a rural setting, is close to all the conveniences of the city, being only six kilometres from the University and similar proximity to hospitals, entertainment and recreational facilities. Creating Dad's Dairy Farm Cottage was a challenging task. The building was transformed from a 50 year old dairy into a retreat which celebrates the dairying background and the pioneering spirit of the area (Steel Rudd of Dad and Dave fame). Hosts Jim and Linda, along with "Tails" the Jack Russell, two ponies, a few cows, chooks and an assortment of wild life (wallabies, hares, possums, lizards and assortment of native birds) like it and hope you will too.
