Mountainside Nature Retreat offer self-contained cabins and a function complex on Quamby Bluff, northern Tasmania. There are two large family cabins, one with a combustion heater, accommodating up to six or seven guests. A smaller family cabin offers an open fireplace and a deck, suitable for up to four people. There is a bunkhouse that sleeps eight people and another cabin appointed with a queen-size bed, polished floor, thermostat heater and a porch. Mountainside has a function complex with an open fireplace, a commercial-size kitchen that can cater for 50 people or more and a dormitory accommodating up to 12 people. On the lower level there are showers, toilets and a guest laundry.Mountainside is close to Liffey Falls, the Central Plateau lakes, Meander Falls and only 55-minutes’ drive from either Launceston or Devonport. You can climb a mountain, walk along a waterfall or simply listen to the birds and experience the tranquillity of beautiful sunrises and sunsets from your secluded mountain cabin.
