The reticulation/irrigation industry is largely unregulated and as such a great number of tradespeople (even large established companies) who claim to be 'reticulation professionals' are in fact, far from it. Unlike an electrician or plumber, there are no specific licensing or regulatory requirements for a reticulation tradesperson, and as a result, any old person can advertise themselves as a reticulation professional, regardless of their lack of training or experience, and they have no specific government standards to abide by.
On an everyday basis I see very poor reticulation work which has cost the client hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
