Site Consultation: where we walk around your property, discussing ideas, potential opportunities and constraints that may exist, and generally assisting you with visualization of what your garden could look like when professionally planned. We look at the location and architecture of your house and other buildings, existing landscape features including views to be retained, enhanced or screened, and talk about your needs, styles and tastes for your ideal garden environment. Many clients find that this helpful consultation is adequate for them to proceed with developing their garden plan themselves. This consultation is charged from $250 payable upon completion of consultation.
Concept Plan: Following site consultation, clients may wish to commission a preferred conceptual plan which provides a basic plan for the property indicating approximate areas for lawn, ground covers, garden beds ,paving, screens, service areas, special features such as sculptures, ponds ,seating, pergolas, entertainment and play-areas. Concept plans indicate types of vegetation and landscape materials, approximate layout and size of elements of the garden. Fee quoted.
Full Garden Plan: Detailed b/w or coloured plan includes plants, paths, beds, decks, ponds ,etc, plant list with species, quantities, pot sizes for ordering from local nurseries. This plan will be of sufficient detail for obtaining quotations from landscape gardeners or for yourself to implement. Fee for this service will be quoted during initial site consultation and depends upon size of project, travel time, complexity and any additional services if required:
