Hello, I'm the William Heague in this listing. I was listed on this website without my consent.
This is the first I heard of it, `Hi William, We have some good news. Your Yellow Pages Value Package for William Heague now includes a TrueLocal Basic listing, giving your business extra benefits, including the opportunity to .....` blah blah blah.
I'd rather not be on this site but it seems I have no choice. This is TrueLocal's policy: `Please be advised that TrueLocal publishes public business information as a way for customers to find great local businesses. As a result, we do not remove business listings unless a business has ceased trading.`
I can understand some independent third party starting a review site or blog but I ask, Why an advertising company which provides a service I pay for, i.e. the Yellow Pages, give me something I don't want and can't get out of?
How can a company which is, `giving your business extra benefits` with this listing be an independent arbiter of reviews?
Do I have to cease having a Yellow Pages listing to show my dissatisfaction with this?
