Laser Wizard are proud of the quality of our staff and our equipment. As at September 2015 we have just installed the most up to date Trumpf laser in Australia. This 4m x 2m 5KW. laser is capable of cutting up to 20mm stainless steel. It compliments our other two Trumpf lasers and a 2Kw. Laser Lab machine.
Laser Wizard also has a Tehni waterjet machine capable of cutting brass, copper, laminated material, stone, aluminium, rubber and many other materials that are not suitable for cutting on the laser machines.
Although laser and waterjet cutting is our specialty, Laser Wizard has the capabilities to do more than that. Laser Wizard have three CNC Safan folding machines. These Safan bending machines are electric presses not hydraulic. They are around 50% faster than a hydraulic press and use far less power as they only use power when pressing a fold. Laser Wizard has the capacity to fold up to 4m. long on our 220 ton x 4m press. We also have a 3m press and a new 1.2m ergonomic high speed press for smaller high volume parts. This equates to cheaper prices for our customers.
Laser Wizard has a well equipped welding division capable of MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Laser Wizard also has spot welding and resistance stud welding capabilities.
Laser Wizard services also include clinch nut inserts, drilling and tapping, rumbling, and linishing of stainless steel.
Laser Wizard saw a need for further services for our customers so we established a close relationship with some other service providers.
As a result we can offer some very competitive pricing on powder coating, galvanising, zinc plating and anodising.
Our staff however are our biggest asset. They are highly trained in the sheetmetal business and can assist our customers with advice on material selection, design, compatibility and functionality.
