Shinbukan offers traditional Japanese training in self defence, karate, ninjutsu and a variety of Japanese martial arts.
The academy was founded in 1978 by Soke Crando Saito to continue the traditions of Igaryu Ninjutsu, Goju-Ryu Karate, Shinto Ryu Iaido and Aiki-Jujutsu.
Soke Crando Saito is the 16th Grandmaster of Igaryu Ninjutsu, Grandmaster of Goju-Ryu Karate Do, 7th Dan Kyoshi Shinto Ryu Iaido, Isshinryu Aiki-Jujutsu Soshi, Hanshi 8th dan Sports Chanbara and 8th dan Soshi Tamagashiri Iaido.
Shinbukan aims to develop the arts carefully and spread them further so that a new generation may become its masters and in turn teach the next generation.
For men, women and children. The traditional style of Goju Ryu Karate Do originating from Okinawa develops very high levels of strength spiritually, mentally and physically, and improves health and vitality.

Lord Ienaga Hattori (1150-1185) founded Igaryu Ninjutsu in the 12th Century using techniques derived from the knowledge and disciplines used by the Yamabushi (mountain warrior monks) dating back to the 6th Century. Igaryu Ninjutsu incorporates strategy, weaponry and fighting techniques.
This school develops mental, spiritual and physical balance and conditioning and suited to helping people to cope with all aspects of life. Saito Crando (Grandmaster) is the 16th Grandmaster of Igaryu Ninjutsu in a direct line of master-student relationships.
